You are thinking of the King buck. It has a common base point that is considered non typical and drastically reduces the score. It isn't a conspiracy.

Great buck but I just don't see how some of you are coming up with 220 or 230+. I don't know that he grosses too much over 200. His mass is super impressive but it only goes so far towards score.
