Yep, got hit by one about 2 weeks ago.

Spread diatomaceous earth in your attic. They crawl up the side of your house, enter through the eaves, get in the attic and come through lights, fans, etc.

The DE cuts the exoskeleton.

I used in in Wimberley and it worked VERY well to keep them out of the house.

yep kills fleas, ticks , ants and more! an ultraviolet light outdoor will drive em away or kill em if they don't leave - plus they glow under it so you can see em! I use the DE in the yard cause I got dogs, lots o dogs!

Yep. Three sick ones in the house. Our exterminator uses something that turns their toes up. They look dead until you pick them up (with a paper towel 'cause I ain't as dumb as I look) and throw them in the trash.

So if you want to sleep at night do not order a black light on amazon and go scorpion hunting. I was hoping not to find any, at least they were all outside. Killed five in a flowerbed by our driveway.

Seems I get popped 2-3 times a year. Thinking I've built up an immunity to them. Just stings and burns a little now.

Saw one in the cabin south of Hallettsville this past weekend. Thankfully one of my boys spied him before he did any damage. That would have been the icing on the cake after getting tagged six times by red wasps earlier in the day.
