Thanksgiving family land buck and big boar

The shadow and I did it again Thanksgiving day morning at my parents place. I haven’t had time to write up a post hardly since, but I shot this 11pt at 210 yds with the 12.5” barreled 6.5 Grendel. DRT. He was larger than I thought. 175 lbs on the hoof.

Then 2 evenings later DRT’d this boar with the same rifle at 110yds at a close family friends’ place. He had a 49” heart girth and took 3 guys to get him in the back of a Ranger. Rank!!

Like that buck! His tines are kinda gnarled up - very cool.
