I have about 200 black diamonds that should be ready in a little over a week.

X2 TBH express? I want to try one to see if they're as good as the hype.

I bought a round one with the yellowest spot and dried stem from Sprouts. And it's super heavy for it's size compared to the others. Will see if that guide on the last page works.

And to Austin. You know you want to take a road trip and sell them for $4 each. It's worth the loss to meet some TBHers.

Maybe they will stay good till Bownanza next year and I'll bring them then. Don't worry, I'll give them away.

Not sure how all of this rain will affect them just before they ripen. I heard too much rain at the wrong time will put big green veins in the middle of them. This is my first time growing this many melons. I usually just plant a couple of plants of the icebox variety but i went all out and planted a strip about 200 yards long and 50 yards wide. I planted them the 1st of June and it quit raining so we didn't get a good stand but the plants grew huge so I'm glad not everything came up. If can we keep the coyotes out there should be plenty to share.
