                    I'm not a big watermelon fan, but we grew some BDs in the garden when I was a kid, and they were pretty dang good. I won't even try anything else since then.

                      Love he tips on this thread and gonna try to find one that doesn't sound hollow. Last one I bought tasted like nothing and wasn't a great consistency. Now that I have some more direction maybe I can get some good ones. Tried to grow some this year and it didn't work out

                                More green stripes and hollow thud. Stripes indicate amount of times it was pollinated, which will cause them to be sweeter.
