Was wanting to get some watermelons but didn't know how to choose a good one. I've heard some tricks but wanted to see if anyone on here knew how to pick a good sweet watermellon

This! If where it was sitting on the ground is white, don't buy it. If it's yellow and covers a lot of area then it will be very ripe and sweet

Needs to be heavy
Make sure it has a good yellow spot from where it sat on the ground. Yellow means it wasn't picked too early
Look to see if there is any webbing on the ends. The gray papery looking stuff.
I started doing it like this and haven't gotten a bad one yet
Who doesn’t love watermelon? Most people are obsessed with this delicious and refreshing fruit. Sometimes we think that unless you’re an experienced farmer, buying a juicy, tasty, fully ripe, and sweet watermelon is hit or miss. However, it doesn’t have to be if you look for a few things when you’re picking out your melon. In fact, you can tell whether a watermelon is ripe without actually cutting it. Today, we at Bright Side would like to share some tips from experienced farmers that will help you to choose the finest watermelon ever.
