    After the firewood is cut from the stumps, we may put the root balls in the pond. But I think that's about all the "structure" I want for now. I hope to build a pier and I don't want too much in the pond until that's done.

      Be scared very scared. The property across from us went up due to a kid tossing a cigar by his stand. It burned up 7 miles of neighbors land, and I think 10 years later his dad is still fighting law suits.

      I would wait for a rainy day in April next year....

        Yea! I got it done this morning! Here are the pictures.











        I arrived at 7am to burn brush while there was little or no wind. I had already called the VFD and the Sheriff's office to give them a heads up. I waited for each pile to burn past it's greatest intensity before lighting the next pile. I started the last pile at about 8:45am. The brush burning went off without a hitch. Thanks for the help, guys!
