Winning the Big 12 versus OU in the conference title game.

No CFP, back in the Sugar.

...and then look out next year.

Wait, in that scenario TCU would have to lose 3 conference games with none being Texas. So OU and who?

Army is a compelling possibility from Group of 5. UH was mentioned. I think USC would be a good choice if they can get through their tough early schedule.

UF was probably the most mentioned in the other category. Many felt that tu is overrated in Top 10, but unlikely to drop out of final poll. I think most here would probably concur with that. ND would be another reasonable choice. I still think LSU could take a step back, as well, with their tough schedule.
I think there is a good chance LSU takes the step forward this year. First time in a long time they have confidence at QB, and schedule isn't as tough as it was last year. Yea the 2 toughest games of UT and Bama are away games but I think they turn the page and are in the SEC championship game.

I too think TCU is about a 9-3 team with Texas being the swing game.

I hope that UH does all and more. But right now they have the OU v UH line at UH -25
Not the way I would like to start the season if it holds true.

But man it would be a sweet win at home and away

A loaded Texas team with a senior Heisman finalist QB.

I'm looking for significant improvement from the Razorbacks, should be easy to improve on 2-10 from last year. Significant, yet young talent increase, and significant QB upgrades, hopefully a bowl and the extra practice time. The gauge is in week 2, at Ole Miss.
