    Martin Howatt ML-17 Bow question

I have my eye on a Martin Howatt ML-17 bow but I can't seem to find much information about it on-line. I believe it was made in the early 90's. And it's a very pretty looking bow. Does anyone have any experiance with this bow?

I use to helpout in an archery and we had one of these. It was areally nice looking bow, but had hand shock that actually hurt your hand and wrist after several shots. We had it many years before it finally sold.

As compared to most modern bows it is slow snd will rattle your fillings out. Most people that I have known that owned one was short lived due to those facts. I believe it is made of Shedua wood. Pretty doesn't always mean performance. I would suggest looking in the classified ads for a used Sarrells bow when one comes up. Best of luck.
