        Anybody use the metal cases that bolt to the tree and you can put a cable lock through? Seems like it would stop a person from tampering with it unless they are bound and determined.

          I just use master lock cable locks and hang the cameras at waist height. They're about $12 on amazon. Most trail cameras are manufactured now with a slot for these cables. So it's an easy process to lock them to the tree.

              The cameras I use on public I hot glue bark and fake plants to. I have tons of pictures of folks walking right past them and not noticing them. Sometimes I have put them at the base of a tree instead of hanging them with good results too.
