Leave camp like you found it!

I'm sitting in the back seat of Devin's truck reviewing images. I'll post 'em as the technology allows.

We had a two small herds of lopes come 100 yards from camp this morning. Kinda funny since everything we shot was on the opposite side of the ranch.

      Making a fajita fire.

      And cutting wood.

Casey and I went down the road about a half mile last night to try and see what the sky looked like away from the lights of our camp.

The windmill shot is pre moon rise.

The luna shot is right after the moon came up.

I had just enough battery to get two shots.

We had some wind but it was temporary. It was one of the easiest trips weather wise.

Full ice chests make for a nice drive home.

Here's to fall. Here's to more campfires with good friends and family. Most of all, here's to the Middletons and the reward of ice chests full of protein.

                Salad!

OUTSTANDING coverage, as usual. Thanks for thinking of us. Congrats to the hunters. Kudos to Stovall/Autry family for sharing their little slice...

                      Made it home.

Words really can’t describe the awesomeness we all got to experience this weekend...what an honor to be included on these hunts.

Special thanks to Ben, Zac, and the Autry family for allowing us another year of hunting, campfire, and memories on their ranch.

And a big time congrats to the guys who put lopes on the ground...certainly is just as much fun, if not more, seeing others succeed on this hunt.

I had an absolute blast as usual!

If you need a break on the way home from Dervin's, I'm about 12 miles south of Decatur, 1/2 mile off 287.

Chane gets it! Hope you didn't sack anyone this year...unless it was Zac.

Haha! No sacking this year. Sure missed you and the others that couldn’t partake this year!

What an event. So honored to be included. Old fireside relationships were renewed and new ones formed. I'll share some pics tomorrow. I took it off to recoup.

According to the order of images in the camera, I believe this is Casey's buck. However, the more I look at it, the more I think it's another lope entirely. Of course, the angle does not help. If this isn't the Casey antelope, then enjoy the image for what it is.

Here's the finished product on the way to ice and taxi. Lotsa character with a character.

This spot is called the Double Windmill. It has enjoyed a lot of action and photography over the years. In this shot the crew is looking for antelope with Devin on the top of what used to be our favorite gametamer sit.
