            Couldnt have turned out any better. Very nice work. What is your process to connect the three individual pieces of wood. How do you hide the screws ?

                  I use 3'' deck screws from the underside the base into the column, then the same in the top. I countersink them in the top and fill it with epoxy and sand it down flush before shooting some lacquer on it

                    I use a brand called system 3. Consists of a black pigment put in the resin then mixed 2 to 1 with the hardner.

                      A claw hammer easily removes the bark and if its harder than usual I also use a big flathead screwdriver....
