    Bobcat or Ocelot

Is there any way that this could be an ocelot?

I looked them up online and McMullen county is one of the few counties in which they are known to live In Texas. Im guessing is it is just a really pretty bobcat. Has anyone ever seen one to confirm?

            ocelots have long tails.

unless he got caught in the engine fan of a buick when he was a baby, like a cat we had when I was a kid..... it's just a bobcat

a very cool looking bobcat though

I would lean towards an ocelot because of the neck markings but I really don't know. I going to look online.

I say Bob cat, but it's not an easy call.

Bobcat, the legs are to long and ears to big for an ocelot.

Mammals of Texas, great website for people to search for critters of the Lone Star State.

The tail is the best way to ID a Ocelot, I can show you pics of Ocelots and South Texas bobcats from the right angles and they look the same.
