What about this guy. Seems like an awesome combo. I may have to go this route since I'm due a new gas grill.

I don't like where the grease drains on that setup. Maybe the Academy employees put it together wrong and you could swap ends with the gas grill otherwise you will have grease all over the front of your grill

After cooking on my griddle a few times, I doubt I will ever use a gas grill again.

I haven't used mine but once or so in the 4 or 5 years I have had the griddle. I need to change the regulator out on the grill and get some grates but there's no hurry. I still prefer steaks on a grill though.

That has to be put together wrong. I think the grill and griddle are on the wrong sides. At least I hope so. There's no where for the grease to drain.

There was a pull out grease tray right in between the grill and griddle. I like the concept,just not sure how well it works.
