Sounds like a great solution... Not a problem...

I guess with any new bow you have to shoot it a while before you can trust it on the side of a mountain. I've never had a problem with any of my Mathews bows, and would trust each of them, and have. I think it's very concerning that you've had two sets of limbs go south so soon. Mathews needs to get a handle on this in short order, and someone from Mathews needs to jump in this thread quickly. If they've got a problem with their limbs, or their overall design, they better get it corrected.

That's unfortunate, I've had nothing but good luck from Mathews.

See if you can borrow a back up bow from someone.

Bad luck I guess haha. So they just cracked like that? No drops or banged around in the truck? Or have the limbs tightned down past the max point? That seems weird that the limbs would just crack during a shot for no reason.

Not true. Shot hoyt for years when I first started bow hunting. Then shot a pse for a very short time. Then became a Mathews fan. But know that has ended as well. I had some bad customer service and got so ****** off I started shooting a long bow. Now I make my own bows. Good customer service is hard to find now days. Good luck with your bow, and I hope they take care of it.

If our specs are the same you can use my bow as a back up

Get a elite and be happy. I have yet to find a Mathews I like. I've had a switch back xt, Reezen and a z7 extreme. Now I shoot a elite z28 and like it a lot. Can't beat the elite warranty either.

Me neither. I think I almost pulled my shoulder out if socket drawing it back! Elite is a sweet bow too!

I was always a mathews guy until I fired off an elite answer. Shot it side by side with my z7 extreme and was speechless. I never thought i would find a better bow than my extreme and I did.

If you're not a speed freak, there's not a smoother bow than the Elite Hunter. Rock solid backwall and smooooooooth draw. You have to shoot it to see what I'm talking about.

How light of an arrow are you shooting??
You have to be shooting a heavy enough arrow to absorb all that energy or any limbs will blow up.
I have had my chill for 3 months and its the best mathews I've owned.

                                Good luck
