                Thanks. Now I have something else to worry about! I actually very seldom hunt with a compound any more and it might give me another reason to reframe for doing so.

                I have had two compounds and a recurve blow up on me.

                Makes ya gun, er, bow shy for a bit.

                All of mine were in the yard though. Sorry about that lost chance that Big Boy.

                  Correct. Letting down at odd angles is an easy way to do it. Check out this video.

                      Great video and lesson. My Dad taught me to never hold a draw longer than 15 seconds, 6 seconds is the goal, and don't hunt with a 70 pound draw weight. It's good advice for hunting.

                        Horrible timing for a bow mishap. But you are ahead of me if I saw a deer like that I probably would be shaking too much to get to full draw!!
