Thanks. Now I have something else to worry about! I actually very seldom hunt with a compound any more and it might give me another reason to reframe for doing so.

I have had two compounds and a recurve blow up on me.

Makes ya gun, er, bow shy for a bit.

Had mine do the same exact thing a few years ago….except in my kitchen. It's really easy to torque your grip just a tad when letting off. That's all it takes and that string will derail on you in the blink of an eye. I hope you get another shot at BMF.

Great video and lesson. My Dad taught me to never hold a draw longer than 15 seconds, 6 seconds is the goal, and don't hunt with a 70 pound draw weight. It's good advice for hunting.
