Good luck, I did almost the same trip a couple years ago. Hunted just outside Jasper, never saw a moose (lots of sign and heard a few) and shot grouse almost every day for fresh meat.
Just Hit Oklahoma! I am hunt with a friend from Edmonton . We are going to be about 5.5 hours north west of there. I have no idea the exact location but supposed to have tons of Moose

I will be right behind as I fly to Calgary on the 13 and will be hunting Elk and Mule Deer through the 23rd. I will be based in southern Alberta (Claresholm is our base).
Weather is cooling down and buddy saw a bull chasing a cow yesterday evening outside Calgary in the bow zone.

Good luck good sir! Here's to hoping you get a chance to come full draw on a 50+ inch fully palmated monster!
PS - AIM LOW. Two other hunters last week shot high (believed to be double lung shots), with a TON of blood, and never found their moose after miles of tracking. Moose are by far way tougher than any elk I've seen. Everyone in Canada said a high shot, while fatal, on a moose means you're not going to find that moose 9 out of 10 times.
