Cause I have always heard it compared to axis... Wondering if meat care was part of the issue

Black buck is awesome eating imo. We est a ton of them does bucks it doesnt matter.

The one I shot a couple years ago was delicious. It was right up there with the axis maybe even better.

The backstraps are tough, likely due to all the bouncing they seem to do, but the meat itself is fine.

Meat care is almost always the issue. That and lack of cooking skill

I was given some a couple years ago and it was great. Made some different things with it for thanks giving and everyone loved it

I had never tried it until this year. I went on an axis hunt and a black buck hunt in the Spring. The black buck meat was excellent and was every bit as good as the axis in my opinion.
