                Still a lot of welding to do. Most of the cage is only tacked together. My Prop and all of the wiring components for both boats will be here in a few days.

                    You guys obviously know what you are doing...but it sure seems like that motor stand is gonna put a lot of leverage and torque on the floor runners where it's attached if you have to go high throttle with some "resistance"? Does the seat stand share some of it, or distribute it?

                        Motor stand/cage is attached to gunnels, transom and floor. At floor it is attached to doubled floor braces via 24 inch feet.

                          motor mount is also braced as a part of the cage.
                          I have ran a similar setup for years on a flounder rig no problem
