If we are talking about predators in Texas 22-250 or 243 has my vote. Predators in say Montana or Alaska would be a whole other matter obviously.

.223 or .22-.250. I have killed a ton of coyotes and deer with both of these calibers.

243. Works great for both and you don't have to worry about quartering shots as much as you do with one of the 22s

With pigs being 75% of my truck gun kills, I would lean 243 or 308. I'm guesing you aren't skinning and tanning hide, so doesn't matter how big a hole there is on a coyote, and still plenty for behind the shoulder pigs and deer.
