Looking good Hunter. When I rode yalls Utopia place with your dad you can see how much he loves wildlife management. You guys have made it a family passion keeping family close that's a very big added value to having these beautiful animals. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Robert. It certainly is a family affair. He loves messing with both places. Has been pretty much a full time endeavor for him since 2004 and he has never enjoyed it more.

Looks like all of the nutrition is going to their heads!

We really could use several inches of rain spread over a couple of weeks but we are doing what we can to provide them protein, alfalfa and water.

We used to adhere pretty closely to 2 years old or older and less then 8 pts and 4 years old or older and only 8 points. We are starting to be a little less aggressive and let everything get a little age on it. Probably start doing more culling at 4 yrs old and go from there.

If wanting to grow big typicals, I think that's the one! From the pics it looks like there are plenty of other that might score better, but that's by far the prettiest one that you've posted IMO keep up the hard work!

Just build two pens!! Problem solved!

Both of them are studs for sure, that typical 12 just tickles my fancy some! Now if you throw a 160-170" 8 out I'd pick him! Ha

No I hear ya. I really like the 12 and I also like this 10. Should be fun to try and see what the guys in the chopper end up catching.

I don't know yet. Never done it before. We are still going through the paperwork and so forth to get are DMP pen certified.
