Here is a picture of how the lighting in my garage makes it look. This is the color I'm going for. I'm gonna try and knock some of that red from the cedar down some.
Here are some pics after a cleaning and stain. Waiting for stain to dry before satin poly

I really like the natural coloring of the pallets but I have to say, you picked a good stain and it looks 10x better. The wife should be satisfied. If not, someone will give you at least 250 for it!
I used two parts natural one part coffee brown. I'm thinking the whole thing will look a lot richer and deeper once I poly up. I'm gonna cut my Polly down a bit to keep it from building up and I'm gonna rub it on like stain. I figure 2-3 coats should do it
Here is a raw board
This is the back of it with 3 coats of thinned out poly.
The more I look at it.....the 3 cedar boards left center and right are really annoying me. They turned purpleish and i think it looks like crap. I might replace them with a cedar picket that is more yellow instead of red. Opinions?????
Leave it alone. It has so much character like it is. Plus those darker boards tie in with your flooring really well. At the very least look at it in the house before changing it.

Ok good idea. I'm gonna bring it in before I poly it this morning
