        I'm still interested in the book though. Thinking about buying it. The free sample didn't give me past the intro, so I didn't read any of the actual book.

        The movie is classic.
        He had to down play ol Liver-Eater because no one would believe how mean and tough he really was.

            I love Will Geer and his characters he plays. But his real life story is interesting to say the least.

              Have a book about John Colter that's a good read. He is from the Lewis & Clark expedition and is really considered the 1st of the "mountain men".

                          Hollywood woud F-up the movie big time. They's show the white man's oppression and somehow create a narrative on the misunderstood suppressed gay Indian population that was taboo to speak about at the time.
