I like to dump a can of Ranch Style beans with jalapeƱos in mine. I'm a 5th generation Texan and there's always beans in the chili.

I use pinto and black beans as both have really good flavor!

This^^^^ actually sounds good. I may try it next time I want to ruin a pot of chili and turn it into bean soup.

This is what my wife does. She's even been known to throw some refried beans in it too. I don't argue.

Bean soup is something completely different.

Holy hell this topic us so annoying.

Real Texas chili has no beans. Neither the version from the SA Chili Queens nor the version from the trail drive days.

Now, you can put them in there if you want, but that is the Midwest yankee version.

Any chili with beans is DQd at the Terlingua Chili Cookoff.

It's chile con carne. Not chile con carne y frijoles.

I'm going to stir the pot.

I cube up potato's in mine along with kidney beans chili beans and stewed tomato's.

Also putting coconut flakes in with your chili is really good.

You sure get annoyed easy. This is a funny thread so relax.

I'm still trying to figure out how one can remove beans from chili and it be spaghetti sauce Last I checked there wasn't chili powder in spaghetti sauce.

Which proves the point that "Chili" doesn't have beans. Otherwise, they would sell "Chili" and "Chili without Beans".
