Interesting buck- Need another picture

This is the first time I have seen this buck on camera. I got a glimpse of him standing in the brush yesterday, but this picture helps me understand what I saw. Some funky stuff happening on his left side. I wish I had another angle.....

It's so difficult to age from one picture this time of year, but he looks fairly young, too... It'll be interesting to see what he has going on over there

I am almost certain he has to be 2 yrs old. Looks fat for 2, but based on the fact there were no bucks left on this ranch when we fenced it, with the exception of a single 6 pt, I think this buck was born in 2012.
