I put in with 3 pts. I bet they received a lot more than the 800-900 applications they usually get because of the bowhunter education change. Small units to hunt this year will also hurt the draw odds since they will draw fewer names than when there is more acreage to hunt. Next year will be ridiculous and almost impossible to draw when TPWD takes over the draw.

We are talking to Bowhunting Consultants right now about that hunt in AZ!!

No. First year since 1999 I have not put in. I was very fortunate to draw 11 times from 1999 to 2017. Killed 3 bucks, two pretty good ones. I won't be here in Texas anymore. Good news is I will have pretty much my own private Hagerman in Iowa.

They don't make trips into town everyday. They save them up till they have a deposit worth taking in or they need something in town and will drop them off. That's not anything to worry about.
