Baseball is soppesed to be FUN! That’s not fun it’s not about being tough.

No matter what you decide, half the parents will complain.
      This sums it up perfectly.

14 years old or older, maybe. No way in Hell i’m trying to practice kids that age in this weather.

        You will accomplish zero.

Have a meet the coach @ Ci Ci’s pizza or something..

I’m not sure where you are, but it is February... you’d be hard pressed to find a warm day to practice on in my neck of the woods, this time of year. Get them out there and practice.

Just started sleeting. Practice canceled. You boys have fun.

Yes - wind chill in the mid 30’s is too cold to have 7-8 yr olds practicing baseball. Our school district does not allow students to go outside if the windchill is below 40 degrees. Plenty of other days to practice without puting the kids at a higher risk of getting sick than needed.

I don't know that I would have practice and it doesn't have anything to do with sickness or anything else mentioned above. I probably wouldn't waste the time as I don't know how productive it would be. If I thought it would be productive I would do it in a heart beat.

Hey stop it. What I did when I was 8 yrs old is completely different than what I do now. If it is below 58-60 no way am I playing golf. [emoji12]

You're crazy for scheduling practice on a Sunday!

That being said a sunny calm day in the 40's is different than a blustery overcast wet day in the 40's. Do what you think is best. Like someone else said, half will be glad and half will be mad!

Tey'll be fine....I'm glad we aren't practicing today though. I can't imagine you'll get much done though, and I guarantee you won't in the 2nd hour.

According to some on this thread ... eskimos are extinct.

Our team's 7u boys played tournament games till 8:30 last night and are just now taking the field today for brackets.
