    bean pot

    read a couple threads about beans and now i gotta have a clay bean pot... people mention how much flavor they add but say nothing on where they get them... anyone have any input on them.. also they have glazed and unglazed pots on the net (mucho expensive)... which ones are better... thanks in advance.... always good help from you guys on here...

          There are also others on ebay. You could probably pick one up at a mercado also.

            Look at mine in my bean thread. My dad gave to to me prob 16 yrs ago and no telling how long he'd had it before that. They make all the difference in flavoring IMO. Be careful when buying one from somewhere because they could just be decorative pieces. Look on the bottom of the pot and if it says for decoration only do not buy it.

                      the best there is is the >Xtrema ceramic cookware but it's expensive
                      I have an Xtrema 1.25qt pot >which is now the 1.5qt
                      and a >3/4qt bean pot from HomeDepot

                          Cafe Pasquals has them. Most of the potters on the pueblos and tribal lands make them around here. You can call your local tribal nation and see if they can connect you with a potter.
