Some of y'all have no idea what Texas Country/Music is.

Probably his best in imo, although the one I posted and GITMO blues is good too

George Strait was NEVER a major part of the Texas scene. He is Nashville.

Reckless Kelly originally hail from Stanley Idaho. They have been a part of the Texas scene for 15+ years. There is no Idaho scene. They advertise as Reckless Kelly, Austin, Tx.
So, if a Yankee moves to Texas, he is no longer a Yankee?

If you move to New York, you then become a Yankee?

So, if a person is born in New York, moves to Texas when they are a kid, grows up here and is an adult having a deep Texas accent....they are still a yankee.....Reckless Cheri is as Texan as they come. She will kick your *** if you say otherwise.

                    .....and vice versa?

It really has nothing to do with that. We are talking music scenes. If you play all your live shows in Texas and have your fanbase here and are on the Texas charts...well....it's not rocket science.
