    Memphis BBQ

Looking for the go to place(s) for BBQ in Memphis. Where is a good place to go for the “Memphis” style. I know it’s different than our BBQ, just want to try all the different kinds across the country and I’ll be in Memphis in three weeks.
Any other suggestions on local dining would be
Appreciated as well. I refuse to eat at any chain restaurants when I’m on the road. [emoji51]

Corky's. Dry rub and a loaf of onion rings.

Rendezvous in downtown and the commissary in Germantown were my favorites when I worked there. I wasn't a fan of Corkys.

Another vote for Commissary. Best sausage I've ever had.

Corkys....nor Red, White and Blue......both remind me of Dickeys.

I know you said no chains, but Famous Dave’s is really good. Don’t know if they have one in Memphis, but if they do, it’s worth your time.

Central BBQ is good. Rendezvous was not good last time we were there, but it is the rendezvous, so you might as well go just to say you went. BB King’s on Beale was good also
