I agree on the hard horn. I've never had a desire to kill an animal in velvet.

I had some Axis meat for the first time the other day. I'm shooting the first one that gives me a shot (even if it's neither of these.). In velvet, ok fine, bet it still tastes good!

I was wondering same thing.

OP I'd be proud of either of them. A is old and has character, B would make a gorgeous shoulder mount. Being I've never shot an axis I'd be open to which ever one presented an opportunity!
