We got 1.5" with pea size hail. Our neighbors to the NE lost barns, trees, and power lines to a small tornado. We haven't found any damage yet.

South Texas Hunters 2016 Thread

Hoyt Man and myself are hunting in Duval County close to San Jose. We'll be bowhunting there a lot more since we lost our primary lease back home in Colorado county.
There must've been a heck of a storm come through there around the 18th. Three of our 4 rifle tower blinds were on the ground. I hauled a new one there last week and will be going back next week to stand her up. So if anyone's gonna be around the area and wants to lend a hand and drink a few cold ones, let me know. Lol

I'm here in Duval county now. Everything's pretty green and thick. Gotta tear apart a fallen over box blind and set up a new one. Hope the rattlers leave us alone.

Another 1.2" last night. Almost 4.5" so far in April. What a awesome spring Mother Nature has provided for us.

We got 3/4" while I was at the ranch in Catarina last night. Everything is green. We got a bumper crop of mesquite beans right now. Saw a ton of quail and they where all paired up. Looking like it is going to be another awesome year!
