It takes gumption to do that.

It takes gumption and lobbying to get universal healthcare passed.
    And we have Obamacare today.
And it's not going away just like universal education is not going away.

You can't even get more that 50% of voting Republican citizenry to fully repeal Obamacare.

So all that means is those that are rallying against it are yelling for the sake of yelling.

Don't give me some song and dance about Dem obstructionist.
It's REPUBLICANS who are not voting to fully repeal it because that's what their constituents want.....to keep Obamacare.

Politicians stay employed because of complainers
You complain to your elected official and he promises you he's working hard to get you what you want.
When in actuality he sat on his hands for seven years and now it's GAMETIME and he shows up to the meeting unprepared and without a presentation at all making you and him look foolish
    .

Lastly, how do you propose to "stop the bleeding" of the public education system?
Beyond all the other ramblings on this thread (which is all fair...thus the conundrum we are in) that are residual to the point............what I highlighted is spot on! Basically embarrassing & shameful on multiple levels at this point!!!

All you other lying back sliding rinos, we're watching.
I agree! I fully support the ones that stood there ground because they clearly knew the latest plan was cow crap at best! Get to work and get this figured out where the American citizens are not even bigger losers...
No more excuses get to work.....period!

Saying they want to keep some form of that welfare for their voters.Go figure.
Now the talking point is just let the ACA fade away under the weight of it own failings. I guess that was/is a option but it wont go over well once the litany of potential horror stories start to hit the airwaves.......especially when your JOB on Capital Hill is to fix/repair/change/replace/introduce legislation for the "good" of American citizens........nothing more, nothing less! Oh well, one more step that may HELP our citizens to understand that the game is fixed, which is a good thing!. Both sides are waaaay out of line and folks keep falling for the BS!

That post reveals some pretty thin skin. Challenge the local confirmation bias with a different perspective and the tribe gets edgy. But let's be honest, the idea of a political forum on a hunting site is a bit silly and impractical. Any political forum established for a demographic that's exceedingly conservative and religious is going to result in a right-wing ideological echo chamber every time. Open a political forum on a vegan site and you'd likely get a left-wing version where the most ardent leftists would challenge any non-liberal intruder's reason for living.

      Back to the GOP...

Less than 12 hrs after the strategy for full repeal generated premature celebration, McConnell's proposal for a full repeal of Obamacare is reportedly dead, killed by 3 GOP moderates (Capito, Murkowski and Collins - all women). Meanwhile, the ever shrinking vocal minority on the right continues to rant and rave about it as it becomes increasingly evident that the President doesn't have the pulse of the American people on healthcare and is overrated in the deal making department.

Speaking of Capito, the irony of Trump getting burned by a GOP Senator from the heart of coal country is priceless....in my humble opinion.

Apparently almost 60% of Trump voters have no clue.

No thin skin here. Just reiterating what the rules for this forum are.

By your graph, I guess you think that Clinton voters DO have a clue. Freaking priceless!!

          Obammycare. .....Die!, Die!, Die!

That's what I wanted from the start! I'd rather see them repeal it, but if it has to die, die, die under it's own weight. ...so be it, then the dems can own it some more.

Careful. If you keep talking like that, you will give the Centrists a case of the red anus.

Seems like Murkowski and her band of merry men are keeping our jobs alive.

Awesome survey from an awesome source.
It's funny how now, that it's abundantly clear it's going to fail no matter what, the left MSM is calling it the "GOP Healthcare Bill". Laughable!
It is, & ALWAYS will be, Obamacare. The libturds didn't want to call it the "GOP" healthcare when they put it on the table.
This version is NOT the GOP bill, it's merely a very mildly watered down Obamacare.
Call it whatever you want, the left is 100% owners of this junk, until it is 100% repealed.

So then it will ALWAYS be Obamacare AKA Democrat Health Plan. Leave the GOP out of it's title!
The left owns this lock, stock & barrel.

                          This is appropriate:

The DNC targets political issues that once enacted, create a perceived humanitarian crisis to undo. Hence, to undo it isn't just bad politics but has huge ethical undertones in today's public square that have zero merit.

We need to quit being so concerned with "ethical undertones".

The left totally understand it's a horrible law that is not only bad for the economy but bad for consumers as every case study of the govt getting involved proves quality is greatly diminished....still, they use this angle to be perceived as morally superior because they care so much making those opposed evil.

It's really all about power / influence & moving the US towards a Europe model with the few having the control over the masses...pretty disgusting anyone can support it staying in place in her current form & following the line of nonsense, much less posting similar views.

This in a nut shell is the problem.

We had no idea what was in the ACA when it was voted in. It is a very long bill.

Question: If it is such a good thing why did the ones who had access to know what was in the bill and voted it in, also vote themselves exempt from it?
