Not saying I got anything against it. The way my luck is going my broadhead would cut the beard off. They do reproduce and I’m thinking the law is there to help out a hunter who doesn’t know the difference. This old bag had a beard to make a lot of Toms jealous though!

Exactly. I used to kill two hens almost every fall and save two tags for spring. Never noticed any drop in the turkey population except in drought years. You can’t stockpile game animals on free range.
