Just peel the skin and soak in peroxide. It will whiten them considerably. I started on mine last year. Wish I would have done all of them from the past this way.

Put them on a colored hanger and hang them on your wall this way you can see all of them and they dont get tangled up.

Here is the best picture I have of mine. I alternate spur, beard so it's a little hard to see them very well. I should probably put some beads in there to seperate them a little. The beards are in 45 brass, makes a nice base for them.

The red you see is the skin/scales from the leg. Just scrape them off and it will be white underneath. I like to tale very fine emory cloth and polish the spurs till they shine.Comment
