Cut the caulk along both ends and the top with a blade. The caulk at the floor can be cut out. Use a thin 5 in 1 tool and work the marble cover off.
Replace valve.
Reinstall marble with caulk/silicon. Just move slow and purposeful, you can get it.
Mine had no shut off valve but does now.
