I really miss ice fishing!!!! Looks like you're having a great trip!!

When you get in the shallower water, lay down with your face in the hole and cover your head with a jacket....... you'll be able to see weed lines and structure

It was fun but I'm ready to get out of the negative temps.

They both eat good, but big perch are a blast to catch.

First morning back in Texas and the 20 degrees I woke up to feels down right balmy!

It's that time of the year again! Leaving Jan 2nd to God's Country for some more ice fishing. Headed to Devils Lake this year. I'll post up pics when I start hammering them!

I miss it. we lived 8 miles from lake Darling and had a trailer mounted fish house we would tow out on the weekends

Hard for a Texas guy to imagine fish biting and even fishing on a frozen lake. Waiting for the updates.

Good luck - heading to Minnesota the end of the month to go to upper red. I’ve fished devils lake in the summer. Might be the best walleye lake in the country.

Some of the best eating there is! Tried to get my son out yesterday here. In Pa. but too cold for the youngster
