Good news, hang in there. I had my left kidney removed due to Renal Cell Carcinoma in September, 2016. We caught mine early enough that it was totally contained in the kidney and I didn't have to have any chemo.

That's great news. Just wondering... how did you discover it?

I woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain from kidney stones. I went to the emergency room. While checking for kidney stones they discovered a mass in my left kidney.
