I hunt Menard County. The pasture is nice and green and we should have a good group of mature deer this year. As always, this is a great time of year. Good luck to everyone.

Oh ok, I hunt in Paint Mare in Dryden. The ladies at the gas station at Combstock told me they had pigs at their place as well. You think its a matter of time for them to get to Dryden?

I am chomping at the bit to go. This week can't go fast enough. Leaving Friday morning by 0800. Hope to be at the lease by 1400. I'll make my customary food/gas stop in Ozona and then haul @ss! I just hope they have fuel.

I think the fuel issue was an made up issue affecting the eastern folk, there was never any shortage out west.

I'm pretty sure they'll get there soon. Especially if you have any good creek bottoms with water in them.
