Tried this didn’t work. Vice grips just made it worse

Do you have an Irwin bolt extractor kit? You can get a small kit for pretty reasonable.

Shop IRWIN Bolt-grip 5-Pack Metric and Standard (Sae) Assorted drive Bolt Extractor Set at Lowe's.com. The bolt-grip fastener remover is designed to work with multiple drive options including ratchets, impact wrenches, flat wrenches, and locking pliers. It has a

Tap the extractor socket onto the rounded head. Remove plug.

This happened to my '05 F250. I tried everything using the tools I had and couldn't get it to budge. All my online research said to weld a nut on there. I didn't have a welder so I just went to an oil change place and they got it off.

You and your old lady are hell on oil pans!!

I'd give it a shot with a small pipe wrench if you haven't already.

Tighten up the vice grips, the plug shouldn't be in the that tight
