      Thank you, sir!

Got him back home to Texas now. Has offers from schools in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, plus some interest in California. Planning a couple of school visits next week. Will update y'all as information is available. Thanks for the interest and support.

Here's a team picture from the conference tournament site in Warrensburg, Mo.

So, Eric's one-year career as a junior Loper at the University of Nebraska - Kearney is as follows:

          ERA 3.06; 9 Saves; 34 K's over 32.1 innings pitched.
Plus, he was named Honorable Mention All-Conference (MIAA) as a reliever.

Good student as well: GPA over 3.5 cumulative

So glad to see he has options, and I'm sure you hope he comes back to Texas.

Kind words, Burnadell from a former athlete. (Rice? Football?)

Nice that he is, in fact, considering some Texas schools to visit.

Closer to home and better weather down south! Sounds like there are several options.
                    Good stuff. Keep us updated.

Update is: first visit went "very well," is all I got out of him on text.

And, yes, Dave: definitely warmer in this neck of the woods. When wife and I visited Nebraska in mid March we watched three games: Friday, 67 (thinking, oh, this is fine); then Saturday, 32; and Sunday, 33. Great folks up there, though!

Update: Son has accepted a nice scholarship offer at Texas A&M - Kingsville!
Go Javelinas! Coach Gonzales and his staff welcomed and impressed Eric. Outlook is good for next season as well, with many returning on a squad that made it all the way to the D2 College World Series.

Congrats on the new home. We have a local that played for the Javelinas and he loved it down there, pitcher, Jaden Dillon.

Thanks, Mike. Looks like a really good program. Jaden Dillon really excelled, making Lone Star Conf. Pitcher of the Year, all-region, and becoming the school's 6th pro draftee.

Coach Gonzales has established a winning tradition there. Entering his 10th season, besides this year's World Series appearance, his teams have made five NCAA Regionals and won two LSC championships.
