Is there anywhere in Buttes with trees big enough to hang a lock on stand or climber? Being from Louisiana, that’s how I’m used to hunting but haven’t found any trees conducive for that style of hunting yet. Of course, I don’t want to be in anyone’s honey hole, but would like to switch it up from a ground blind from time to time.

It’s now 7.5”. Only bad part is it would be nice if it was just a little more west so it could hit the watershed and fill some of these lakes. Will take what we can get even if it messes up my week off to hunt. Too bad we can’t reverse flow the Colorado and get some of that water from Buchanan and Travis.

My dad had a shooter come in but couldn’t get a shot off.

Lake is filling up fast. I’m sure some peoples spots are under water right now
