Waiting on pics!!! I ice fished years ago somewhere way up North! The sitting in the tent fishing didn't spook me near as much as driving the truck out there and hearing ice crunch and creak! I rode out there with my window down in case I had to jump out! Not sure what good that would have done but it made sense at the time!!

Only thing we caught was a buzz! I do remember that part for sure!

Name your fishing rod "The Green Hornet". You'll do well with it.

Sorry it took so long to post. Been super busy since I’ve been back but here it goes. Didn’t get into the fish much the first two days but hit them hard the last day.

What are the little yeller bobber thingies in the holes? Don't you tight-line?

Spent 18 months at Devils Lake. Never had the cojones to go out on the ice (and we were working stupid hours) but I did do quite a bit of fishing before and after the freeze. Darn Yellow Perch are the best eating fish I've ever had.

                      God bless and happy hunting.
                      Richard.

Ice was about 15 inches. Yellow things are floats. Usually jigged with one pole and watched float on the other. Some fish won’t bite on movement and others need it. We each had two poles going. We’d try all different colors and baits till we found what they wanted and would go from there.
