What's your dream buck?

A big free range muley! Only because that will probably be my first paid hunt of my lifetime. I have never paid to even go on a dove hunt before.

My grandpas Muley scored 219" free range probably 35 yrs ago. It's the only thing I asked for whenever the day comes it's no longer in use. Great deer and even better man I idolize him, and drool everytime I see that buck. Makes me think of him when I see him envy doesn't scratch the surface!

My dream buck is easy, I want a archery Pope and Young off my FIL land. 125" or better and I will be happy. Had a chance 2 years ago had a good buck at 15 yds but never had a shot.

I was able to kill my dream Muley last year. 200"+ typical free range with the bow. Not sure on whitetail. Something with a clean frame and double drops would probably work.

You start hunting mule deer you will want very little to do with whitetail anymore.

I'll still bow hunt them a little but it's just to pass the time until the day after thanksgiving when I head west

There's no such deer for me. I enjoy the hunt too much to kill my dream deer and say I'm done.

My goal is ever changing but as of now it's to kill a mid 140's deer off of my little ole post oak region deer lease. To put that into perspective, IMO it's like killing a 170's class deer from a LF south Texas ranch.

IN my country 140's and the occasional 150 is killed every year but there very few and far between.
