    Crawfish table

Made a friend a table last week for his annual crawfish boil. Between kids and work, been a while since I done any fun builds. First one I've built, so I have some ideas of improvements for the next one. Live and learn.... but it turned out pretty good and got the job done. Will try to get more step by step pics next time but here's a couple to see how it turned out.

That's cool! Question: Did you seal it with anything?

My buddy and I were talking about building a couple of these just last weekend.

I want to just build them like below...real cheap out of pressed wood-glued partial board. I realize it will need to be sealed but I don't want any lacquer type sealant or polyurethane smell to transfer to the product.
Does anyone know of a food safe stain or sealer for wood?

I used Mineax Polyurethane and noticed no smell or affect on food. Put last coat on Thursday night (was cutting close on time) and used Saturday afternoon

Great...I didn't think of minwax. I'm sure that would work as long as you allow plenty of time to dry. Thanks

Directions say you can after 6-8 hours but I lightly sanded and added new coat each night Mon-Thur.0
