Head to South Texas. My little brother is down there welding on a pipeline, making around $5k a week. He's 20 years old. He said it's pretty easy to get a job down there.

Ka CHING!!!!! You are so right Clint! I brought home a SA200 yesterday and Blond Huntress freaked! She still isnt convinced that Im not gonna show up with a new truck and a 10k Bob King bed next then start pipelinin'. My son is knockin down 4 grand a week up in Oklahoma welding.
I think Ill keep my job as Safety Director and "play" with the welding thing.....although it would be kinda nice to have a couple sets of papers in my pocket if I got bored with safety LOL

Dont worry Blond Huntress the BK bed wont be ready for at least another 2 months!

We just started 2 jobs around Pecos. Small gathering stuff right now but that country is about to bust wide open again.
