Sounds like the day dove hunters are having a good shoot to our south. I think most of our deer would come from that way so this evening might be a bust and we move to our ladder in the morning.

We had a couple small bucks in the food plot.

I’m going to gamble and we are going to ladder in the morning. 25% of the time the deer come from down wind but good bucks typically come from upwind we have in the morning.

Well my neighbor didn’t come get his loose cow on my place after I sent him a message last weekend. After being on my place for now 3 weeks, I can keep it right?

I got a few hours of trail cam photos before the cow knocked my camera in the mud again. So frustrating to miss three weeks of trail cam photos in hunting season. [emoji35]

Live from the Social Club

I made the stupid decision to go check a cam I have in the food plot and take the golf cart. I thought I could go on the edge but we got stuck. So we came back and cooked breakfast and got a plan. I baked a couple ham and cheese quiche in the Dutch Oven.





So we got a plan. It didn’t work but finally we got out with some old school pushing and gunning it. My old offensive line coach would have been pleased with the effort. I’m so thankful for the shower with hot water!
