My wife is from Bandera and I have always enjoyed going there to visit the in laws. Port Aransas has a special place for me as well.

Port A or Alpine. Built the McCoys in Alpine and did some work for Sul Ross while I was there. Town just has a feel to it.

One of mine is Medina. Nothing there but the apple store, but love the logistics to lots of nearby hill country places. Summer nights are so cool and peaceful there.

It helps to have a good friend whose ranch overlooks the valley.

Mine is from Bandera too. Technically, she lived in Pipe Creek, but same thing.

I'm a big fan of any small town on the coast. We stayed in Indianola once, and I loved it there.

I’ve always like Campwood, Leaky, and Utopia. Goldthwaite is a cool small town that I really enjoy.

Llanos a lot cooler today than it was when I graduated or it could be I appreciate it more.

Fort Davis. I might say Wimberley but there isn't a decent BBQ joint around.
