Alrighty, I post pictures on here from time to time, but thought I'd try something different. I think I may just keep an open thread and post a new picture every so often as I get them. It may be an epic failure, or it may work out. We'll see. It'll just be easier for me to keep up with.
Here we go:
A few weeks ago I was able to spend a little time out west at Elephant Mountain WMA. Four days of photography was not near enough, but it was awesome catching up with an old friend and taking 1000+ pictures. My main goal of heading to the Mountain was getting a Bighorn photo. My buddy said he'd make it happen, but I didn't know how far away we'd find them, or if we ever would. Sure enough, halfway up the mountain we ran into two very mature rams. They posed for me at 40 yards before running down a steep ravine and back up the other side. I was able to snap a few hundred pictures of these two rams, plus a few more pictures of 18 more rams on top of the mountain. Non of the shots compared to the ones of these guys though. I consider myself an extremely lucky individual, and darn blessed to be given the opportunity.
