Wrap it for n foil after it has smoked for about 3:00 hrs. It will reduce the time to about 6 hrs. And you can bring it into the house and put it in the oven where you have more control of the heat....

I have several in my saint Augustine yard too. They look odd almost like that area was hit with roundup or something similar. I didn't know grubs would kill the grass in an 8 inch ish diameter circle.
